To show our dedication to the emergency services, Scottish Fuels is giving key workers a little treat in petrol stations throughout the country. Whenever a ‘blue light’ employee enters a petrol station in Scotland, they’ll receive a free hot drink – and it’s on us.
If you’re an emergency services employee, all you need to do is show your work ID or Blue Light Card when you approach any forecourt operated by Scottish Fuels, part of Certas Energy. The offer has been on since April 2020 and will continue to run until we are no longer in a state of emergency.
It’s business as usual for all our retail customers, and we’ll continue to support key workers, businesses and local communities. Our Retail Director had this to say:
“We could not be more grateful to the emergency services, who are working heroically to save lives throughout this pandemic. As a small gesture, we’re pleased to offer hot drinks to all blue light workers.”
Keeping you warm throughout the year
As your local fuel supplier, we’re proud to support communities throughout Scotland. Many of our petrol stations are found in rural areas where it is hard to come by even the simplest of commodities. Our free hot drinks are just a small way of reinforcing the importance of these forecourts throughout the pandemic.
Our Retail Director adds: “Access to food and drink on the go is vital. We’re proud to keep all our petrol station doors open throughout Scotland.”
We’ve also introduced new health and safety measures to protect customers and staff. These include social distancing guidelines, protective screens, cashless payments, and more rigorous cleaning schedules.
