This June, we’re celebrating Pride Month for our third year. Here at Scottish Fuels, we understand that Pride Month is a time that allows us all, whatever our identity, to play a part in helping to raise awareness of the LGBTQ+ rights movement, as well as to celebrate equality, love and visibility as a community.

Here at Scottish Fuels, we are PROUD of all our employees and continue to be a beacon of inclusion for the LGBTQ+ community and its allies, to enable them to be their true, authentic selves. We actively encourage our colleagues to decorate their workplaces to show their support to the LGBTQ+ community.

This year, we’re celebrating Pride Month by fundraising for The Terrence Higgins Trust, the UK’s leading HIV and sexual health charity.
We’re also hosting fun competitions and quizzes throughout the month, aimed at raising awareness of the LGBTQ+ community, including a “Know Your LGBTQ+ Flags quiz!” We’ve challenged our colleagues to research and name 15 different community flags; some well-known, others somewhat more obscure!
We’re also educating our colleagues this year on Trans Awareness and even have a guest speaker lined up for our special Trans Awareness webinar.
