Scottish Fuels coronavirus (COVID-19) customer update: January 2021

Last updated: 5 January 2021

To all our valued customers,

We remain thankful for your custom and want to offer the strongest reassurance during this difficult time. Following the reimpositions of stronger lockdowns in Scotland from 4 January 2021, we’d like to remind you that our services remain fully operational.

As a critical service, home heating oil supply will not be impacted by these changes in legislation. All of our tankers and partner brands (including Certas Energy) will continue to deliver without disruption. This applies to all farms, businesses and homes throughout Scotland.

We’ve been able to maintain our same high standards of service thanks to our stringent operating procedures, for both drivers and engineers. Our customers’ and colleagues’ safety remains our top priority, while vulnerable customers will always be at the front of the queue.

Changes to fuel deliveries in Scotland

Our fuel deliveries will carry on as normal. However, please note that, in order to protect our staff and customers, our drivers will adhere to social distancing.

During busier periods, you may have to wait a little longer if you’re calling us. We’d always suggest setting up an online account if you haven’t already. This can help you view your bills, order fuel and track your order.

Alternatively, you can contact us in the following ways:

Email: Please email your account manager directly or use one of our direct email addresses for specific departments here.

Phone: Please call us on 0345 300 8844 and we will connect you with the most suitable advisor.

Finally, we’d like to assure you that we are treating this pandemic with the utmost seriousness and importance. We are constantly reviewing our response and communicating any changes via the Scottish Fuels website.

Once again, thank you for your patience and your continued custom throughout the pandemic.

Kind regards,

Steve Taylor
